OIL MALLEE CODE OF PRACTICE: Next Stage in Industry 14 Feb 2012

Oil Mallee Australia has been backed by the Caring for Our Country initiative to review and lift the Oil Mallee Code of Practice to a new level of industry relevance.  Over the last six months a Reference Committee has examined the structure and implementation of the Code, and drafted a new set of Minimum Standards to give it backbone and meaning in the marketplace for mallees.  The Oil Mallee Code of Practice is a Western Australian document, the result of a terrific collaboration between many individuals and organisations.  OMA hopes in the future to take it to the rest of Australia, ensuring farmer and purchaser confidence in any Oil Mallee planting in Australia.  Please contact Simon Dawkins or Romy Kennedy at the OMA office on (08) 9433 1244 for any further information.
